Should I take advantage of those store credit card offers for a discount on a purchase? Hey we all get these, your standing in line and they offer you a discount on your purchase if you qualify for an in-store credit card. Our recommendation is if you have 2 or 3 already that is all you need to keep you scores up! All you really need is one or two revolving accounts reporting on time payments to have great scores. If you have great scores and just want the discount on the purchase that is entirely up to you.
